Late in 2019 we received a commission from Wales & West Housing associate to provide a scheme design on a disused brownfield site off Station Road, St Clears. The site is in a central location, with easy access to schools, shops and the leisure centre, therefore reducing the residents reliance on cars. St Clears also has excellent public transport links to Carmarthen, where trains regularly depart for the capital and beyond.
The development itself commenced construction in 2021 and is being constructed using a locally sourced timber frame, with superior levels of insulation, air tightness and a heating system run by an Air Source Heat Pump, these properties will be EPC rating A and therefore have low running costs and CO2 emissions.
