The houses have been designed to be Low carbon and have achieved Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3 certification. The heating and hot water for the properties is supplied from a super efficient gas fired boilers, and this low energy system is backed up by high levels of insulation and increased air tightness, providing very low running costs for the residents.
