Late in 2018 RLH received the commission to pursue a planning application for much needed affordable housing in Dinas Cross, Pembrokeshire. The brief was to provide a development that could fit seamlessly into the close knit community and its vernacular, particularly as its such a prominent location in the village flanking the A487 whilst providing striking new homes, with a well-insulated fabric and fitted with renewable technologies to provide low carbon homes for the future.
The new homes will constructed in an enhanced timber frame and clad in block and painted render, slate roofs with inset PV panels and chimneys that replicate the surrounding houses. The development is due to commence construction in early 2020 and we hope the development provides a wonderful new beginning for many families and individuals of the local community.
