Located on a small triangular section of land at the end of the High Street in Abergwili, made this site tricky to develop. The access is just off the main A40, hence consideration had to be given to both traffic noise and safe access and egress form the site. The appearance of the development as a whole has been sensitively considered to ensure that there are no detrimental effects of the development on the character and appearance of the area.
The proposal sort to develop the area for residential purposes, with 6 affordable no. units proposed including infrastructure to adoptable standards, partial hedgerow removal, landscaping improvements, biodiversity mitigation & enhancements. The properties were completed and handed over May 2022, with priority given to local residents. The properties have been well received and tenant feedback has been good.
